HSBC waives processing fees and adds up to AED 16,000 cashback for Premier Elite clients (23 June 2026)
HSBC
HSBC has introduced zero processing fees for new and existing Premier Elite clients, with new customers eligible for up to AED 16,000 cashback — effective 23 June 2026.
What’s changed
- Zero processing fees for new and existing HSBC Premier Elite clients.
- Up to AED 16,000 cashback for eligible new customers.
- Premier Elite requires a Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of USD 1 million or above — the combined value of products and investments held with the bank (savings, investments and insurance).
- New customers are onboarded as Premier first, then upgraded to Premier Elite once the eligibility criteria are met.
- Applicants must be 18 or older and open the account in their own name.
What it means for borrowers
- Aimed at high-net-worth buyers: the perks sit on HSBC’s Premier Elite tier (USD 1M relationship balance), so they target affluent clients — the typical profile for premium and high-value mortgages.
- Lower upfront cost: waived processing fees and cashback can offset part of the upfront cost of a purchase, improving the all-in economics of an HSBC mortgage.
If you bank with HSBC or qualify for Premier Elite, it’s worth weighing these perks against the headline rate. We compare HSBC against the wider market so the fee savings don’t come at the cost of a higher rate.
